The first 787 is do out on the flightline soon, right now it is in the paint shop getting the Boeing livery. The engine is a smaller version of the GE90 everything apears to be in the same place. The engine looks cool with the cookie cutter cold duct exit area. In few months we will see the 787 crew test the engine and get it ready for first 787 flight. I will post more data as it comes available.
