Hey Robin, im a balance specialist for Williams International, thanks for the forum! I rack my brain on a daily basis over vibration and troubleshooting balance issues on the LP and HP turbine groups. I also work on the inspection side of things with NDT and destructive testing on a daily basis. Ever turbine that goes thru williams goes thru my hands :) its been a good ride and look forward to a future working with gas turbines!

On youtube are an excellent series of videos on basic turbine theory and function. I highly recommend anyone who has a desire to learn more about turbine engines, how they and the ancillary systems work, view these videos.
Search for "AgentJayZ channel" and you will find them.
